ALI Yoga Wellness is a fitness company and system that incorporates mindfulness training found in ancient yogic techniques which empower our clients to live a joyful and healthy life.
Our mission is to be agents of change by enhancing the quality of life through continuous dedication to our community’s health, fitness, and education on their health and wellness. ALI clients understand the inter-connectivity of the various segments of their body and how they may positively affect their physical, mental, and spiritual balance through healthy lifestyle choices.
I began teaching Yoga as a means of helping my community which was heavily affected by several preventable cardiovascular diseases, including; high blood pressure, obesity, and diabetes.
As I participated in Yoga, I found it an easily adaptable fitness system and did not realize that other fitness systems were based on or synthesized from Yoga. I also found that participation in physical Yoga greatly relieved stress and provided access to the clarity of the mind through meditation and therapeutic breathing exercises, vital elements of any yoga practice. In effect, Yoga is a healing art. Using every breath we take, Yoga aligns the body and mind, alleviating the soul from the pains of life.
